This is my first book by Allie Everhart. Even though this is book 3 of the Kanfield Brothers Series, I had no trouble following along with the storyline. I'm just now determined to read the first 2 books. 😂
Crash with Me is a light and entertaining romance story between a woman who has lived her entire life doing what she is told and a man who refuses to grow up and take responsibility for his life.
Kate has done everything that was expected of her. She has convinced herself that she was meant to marry a man that everyone in her social circle viewed as a great match just because he had a lot of money and had dreams of being a politician. Pressured to marry him, it took until she walked down that aisle and are about to say their vows for her to finally realize that she was marrying a man she didn't love. So, what's a girl to do? Well....run back down the aisle and drive off.... that's what!
During her escape she gets caught in one of the worst snow storms to reach the county and her ex-fiance's car ends up in a ditch. With a dead cell phone, her only choice is to wait and hope somebody finds her.
Brody is the "baby" brother of a small town family that owns a popular apple orchard destination. Growing up with older brothers was not easy for Brody with everyone always telling him what to do and lecturing him for every little thing he does. His dream is to venture out of the orchard family business and be his own boss. He wants to prove to his parents and brothers that he can strike out on his own.
Brody and Kate's paths cross on that one snow storm day and their lives change in ways neither of them had anticipated. Their total opposites, but turns out to be what each other needed.
This story is fun and entertaining. It's light and easy to read. I enjoyed reading Crash with Me by Allie Everhart and I look forward to reading more from this author.
