I was excited to start book 2 of the Messina Crime Family by Lilian Harris. I loved the first book, Sinful Vows and this book kept the story going.
There are some surprise revelations in this book that took it to a new level that I hadn't anticipated.
Raph and Nicolette's relationship was most definitely a rocky one. Having a big age difference between the two kept their relationship on rocky ground for the majority of the book. It's a good sign when you get upset over a character, in my opinion. That, to me, tells me that the author has succeeded in reaching it's reader. And even though I was getting aggravated with Raph, with his back and forth emotions, I enjoyed the book and am left wanting to see where Gio's story goes from here.
Congratulations to Lilian Harris. She has solidified the Messina Family and I'm extremely curious about the Quinns.
