I enjoyed reading this story about rock star, Tommy, his first love, Rachel and his brother, Eddie. Tommy and Rachel were best friends as teenagers that developed into a lot of firsts, including first loves.
Tommy's fortune was looking up as his band started a rise in fame. He made a decision to let Rachel go believing that he couldn't give her the life she deserved.
With her heartbreak and anguish, she turned to Tommy's brother, Eddie, for comfort and resulted in a marriage and a daughter.
After 4 years of silence between the three, a job opportunity for Eddie brings them all back together. Old feelings long thought gone, were reignited between Tommy and Rachel. Tommy's bad boy reputation doesn't earn him extra points and Eddie and Rachel's marriage hanging in the balance.
What does their future entail?
It would be easier if there wasn't a child involved. It would have been easier had Rachel not married his brother. It would be easier if Tommy didn't have his vices. It would be easier if Eddie wasn't so competitive with Tommy.
