Raven has been in love with her best friend, drummer, Nicholas Potter. She and Nicholas have been best friends with "benefits" for years.
Nicholas is the typical rock star drummer who lives the sex, drugs and alcohol lifestyle and has no intention of ever settling down.
Alas, his past catches up to him with life changing news that he just refuses to acknowledge. He's out of his comfort zone and is spiraling downward. So what's a man to do?? Ask his best friend to help him deal with his problems, of course.
Raven is willing to do anything and everything for Nick in hopes that he will come around to loving her the way she loves him. She's bending over backwards and running herself ragged at the cost of her health and sanity.
Nick has been taking Raven for granted for so long, he doesn't recognize how much responsibility he's putting on Raven. He refuses to take responsibility and will pass his problems off to everyone else around him.
What will it take for Raven to "woman up" and give Nick the tough love that he needs to come out on the other side?
Will Nick ever "man up" and realize how deeply he loves Raven or will it be too late? What does he have to do to show her that he's changed and willing to take that chance at love?
