Lighthouse Way by Kristen Proby is my first book from this author. It's a sweet and heartfelt romance story with a light paranormal twist. I've recently read a lot of dirty, smutty, steamy stories, so the steam factor on this book was maybe a 2 out of 5 for me. It was a nice change for sure.

The book had good characters and the small town setting is fun. I liked Rose's shenanigans.

Having said that, I didn't like the main character's diary entries. It just didn't feel all that relevant to me. It was more confusing and a hassle to read through even though they were short entries. I don't think the story really needed it. Rose's diary had me interested, but it didn't really reveal too much. The mystery felt a bit short lived.

They're romance was quick and lacked the heat and intensity that I needed to get emotionally attached. The fight they had was quick and resolved right after, not giving the reader a chance to really feel the struggle and the pain.

I think overall it was lighthearted and was entertaining. I'd be interested in reading about Sarah and Tanner or Juniper and Apollo.
