Puck Boy is Hannah Gray's first book in the Puck Boys of Brooks University series. It's only the beginning but it's Cam's story that began in the third book of the Brooks University Football series.
I love how Cam started off in the book, Hate You, Henley and progressed through to the Florida East University series.
In Hate You, Henley, I was not supportive of Cam's character. He started off as a "villain" and I did not like his character at all. He slowly got a little better in the following stories. But here, in Puck Boy, he completely redeems himself and I am completely in love with him.
I love how Hannah had me hating his character and slowly beginning to like him and then completely to a 180 and he has become a favorite of mine in all her books. He definitely makes up for his mistakes in the past and is redeemed wholeheartedly.
The way he falls for Addison and Isla is just dream worthy and swoon worthy in all the right places.
I love how Hannah intertwines characters from previous books. It helps really build this world and the feeling of family, whether by blood or by choice. I actually like the by choice so much better and this group of characters are so much more than family to me.
Puck Boy is an exceptional beginning for this series and I am anxiously awaiting the rest like a dog waiting for a treat. Definite 5 stars for me. Way to go Hannah!
