Taste by Melanie Harlow

I have always loved everything Melanie Harlow writes and this falls right into that favorites list. I started reading Melanie's books 2 years ago. I love all her series and I'm so happy that she has started a next generation series combining stories from separate story lines. It's like being a family and I always feel right at home when I read her books.

Taste is sexy, angsty, romantic, steamy, heartbreaking and heartwarming. Everything a great book needs.

Gianni is fun, gorgeous, tempting, loving, and such a character you can't help but fall in love with him. He has always had wanderlust and has never wanted to stay in one place or with one girl for too long. Growing up together, Gianni loved teasing Ellie.

Ellie is beautiful, smart, loving, focused, and determined. She is dedicated to her family and their family business. Leaving her hometown is never an option. She hated Gianni for always teasing her and being mean to her.

One blizzard night and stranded in a motel room changes everything.

"I wanted commitment, he wanted freedom. I wanted a family, he wanted independence. I wanted deep roots, he wanted to be a tumbleweed."

This story had me all tingly and I felt like a teenager again dreaming of finding my true love. It had a lot of banter, angst, steamy scenes, and great characters... what's not to love?
