The Last Eligible Billionaire by Pippa Grant is an entertaining story and I usually give Pippa Grant higher ratings but this one fell a little short for me. I don't know if I just wasn't in the right frame of mind, but what usually takes me 1-2 days to read took me almost a week. I had to keep putting it down.
Hayes and Begonia were entertaining enough with funny moments, silly banters, and steamy scenes. I loved Marshmallow, Begonia's dog.
I was a bit confused with some of the dialog. I would have to read it more than once to try and understand what someone was saying and/or who was saying it.
Begonia is flighty, immature and a bit hairbrained. I felt like Hayes was a little wishy washy at times. The mother was also confusing. I wasn't sure if she liked Begonia or if she was against her.
It was a fun read but it lacked the extra "umph" that I usually get with Pippa Grant's previous books. I'm glad I read it and finished it. Would I buy the book? Probably not.
