I've been excited to receive an ARC of The Reckless Player by RC Stephens. Having read the first 3 books; Ruthless Player, Callous Player and Heartless Player, I knew this book with be just as good, if not better.
Ryse and Paris's story is a friends to lovers romance. Ryse is a hockey "manwhore" who never sleeps with anyone twice. He's never let anyone close to him, living on his father's last advice to him before leaving.
Paris is a single mom who got pregnant way too soon and her father disowned her. Having been left by her baby daddy, she has no plans of ever letting anyone get too close.
This book did not disappoint. It had romance, steamy scenes, friends that support each other, friction, single mom, hot playboy and a heartfelt story that tugs at your heart. It deals with parental and abandonment issues.
The Westfall U Series by RC Stephens is a great college/sports romance series that's very entertaining and romantic. I definitely recommend this series.
